Description

Has a fibrous, rust-brown trunk which is often surrounded by a neat skirt of dead fronds. The living fronds form a dense crown. Prefers full-sun to part-shade. Keep moist while establishing and during dry spells. Dicksonia fibrosa (Whekī, Golden Tree Fern) is an evergreen tree that grows at a moderate rate to reach 5m in 10 years.
