A slender, erect, multi-branched grower with dense, interlacing branches. Glossy, slender, green and red-brown leaves that deepen their bronze colour in winter. Becomes smothered in star-shaped, bright-yellow flowers in spring. Produces red, orange, or yellow berries in autumn which birds adore. Corokia x virgata is a hybrid between Corokia buddleioides and Corokia cotoneaster.
