The glossy, slender leaves are green and red-brown, deepening their bronze color in the winter, adding to the visual interest of Corokia x virgata 'Bronze King'. During the spring, Corokia x virgata 'Bronze King' becomes smothered in star-shaped, bright-yellow flowers, creating a beautiful display. Following the flowers, Corokia x virgata 'Bronze King' produces red, orange, or yellow berries in the autumn, which are enjoyed by birds. Overall, Corokia x virgata 'Bronze King' is a stunning and practical addition to any landscape. Corokia x virgata is a hybrid between Corokia buddleioides and Corokia cotoneaster.
