Has broad leaves of glossy, dark-purple. A sturdy grower which matures with multi-trunks. Produces panicles of small, white, fragrant flowers in early-spring. Excellent for large containers. Cordyline 'Renegade' is a hybrid between Cordyline australis and Cordyline banksii.
