Citrus lime ‘Tahitian’

This cold-hardy lime is an ideal choice for home gardens as it commences fruiting quickly. Citrus lime ‘Tahitian’ has an upright and bushy growth habit and produces prolific crops of large-sized fruit that start green and turn yellow-green when ready to harvest. It produces fruit throughout the winter season and has a high juice content. Citrus lime ‘Tahitian’ is excellent for growing in containers and also features scented white flowers throughout the summer season. Additionally, it is self-fertile. Citrus lime is evergreen and a hybrid between Citrus x aurantiifolia and Citrus x limon.
