Cedrela sinensis ‘Flamingo’ is characterized by its slender, erect branches that bear pinnate leaves of rich, warm-pink in early spring. As the season progresses, the leaves transition to cream-yellow and then to green by summer. Cedrela sinensis ‘Flamingo’ can be halved in height or pruned to the ground to encourage a profusion of new stems. In the fall, Cedrela sinensis ‘Flamingo’ produces yellow leaves, adding to its seasonal interest. Cedrela sinensis ‘Flamingo’ also produces beautiful, fragrant white flowers that are arranged in drooping clusters during the summer months.
