It flowers profusely from mid-winter to early spring, adding color and beauty to the garden during the colder months. Camellia ‘Spring Festival’ has a narrow, upright growth habit with dense foliage. Camellia ‘Spring Festival’ is evergreen, not native to New Zealand, and a hybrid of Camellia cuspidata. Camellia ‘Spring Festival’ was produced by Toichi Domoto in Hayward, California, United States and first flowered in 1970.
