It’s highly adaptable and can thrive in a range of soil types and positions. Callistemon ‘Kings Park Special’ is well-suited as both a feature or screen plant. Callistemon ‘Kings Park Special’ is evergreen, not native to New Zealand, and a seedling that was raised at Kings Park and Botanic Garden in Perth, Australia in the 1970s. The original plant was selected and propagated by E. Wittwer. The origin of the seed is not known.
