This birch is produced from tissue-culture, so all trees grow uniform and identical. Dazzling white bark on the stems and trunks is maintained into old age. An erect, tidy grower. Large, green leaves turn bright-yellow in autumn. Good for group plantings. Deciduous tree that grows at a fast rate to reach 7m (H) x 5m (W) in 10 years.
This tree is no longer in production, but Betula utilis var. jacquemontii can be used as a subsititute.
