Aristotelia serrata

In spring, it produces cream to rose-pink flowers, which are followed by dark-red to purple-black berries in summer that are attractive to native birds. The leaves may have pink-red undersides. It can tolerate light frosts and may be semi-evergreen in colder climates. Aristotelia serrata is evergreen and native to New Zealand.
