Apple ‘Gala’ bears yellow-skinned apples with a red flush, and its juicy, creamy flesh boasts a rich flavor. The fruit becomes ripe from late summer to early autumn, while the pink buds unfurl into white flowers during spring. Although partially self-fertile, optimal fruit production requires a cultivar such as Apple ‘Fuji’, Apple ‘Golden Delicious’, or Apple ‘Red Delicious’ that has a comparable bloom period.
