During autumn, the leaves turn beautiful shades of gold, orange, and red. It is well-suited for smaller gardens and thrives in moist, well-drained soils. However, it may suffer from leaf scorch in excessively sunny, windy, or dry conditions. Acer palmatum var. dissectum ‘Seiryu’ is cold hardy and can also be used for bonsai.
