Acer buergerianum, the Trident Maple, is a deciduous shade tree native to China, Taiwan, and Japan, renowned for its copper-red spring foliage, spectacular autumn colour in shades of red, apricot, and yellow, and attractive flaking red-brown bark on mature specimens.
