Metrosideros robusta ‘Kawa Copper’ has been selected for its bushy, stocky growth habit and copper-red new growth, making it an excellent cultivar for hedging. Metrosideros robusta ‘Kawa Copper’ has small leaves that can be clipped to any desired shape or form. Rust-red flowers are borne from early to mid-summer. Metrosideros robusta ‘Kawa Copper’ is quite cold hardy and is tolerant of moderate coastal exposure. Metrosideros robusta is evergreen and native to New Zealand.
