Cornus controversa ‘Variegata’ features stunningly arranged branches that are tiered in layers, and are adorned with green leaves that have broad margins of cream. In late spring to early summer, cream-white flowers bloom on the branches, followed by blue-purple to black fruit in late summer to autumn that are enjoyed by birds. As autumn arrives, the leaves turn yellow, making Cornus controversa ‘Variegata’ even more beautiful. Cornus controversa ‘Variegata’ is particularly impressive as a specimen.
