Acer palmatum ‘Pixie’ boasts a compact size, making it ideal for full sun to part shade. It thrives in sheltered spots, requiring protection from intense afternoon sun and hot, dry coastal winds. Plant in fertile, moist, and well-drained soil for optimal growth. Acer palmatum is deciduous and native to Japan, China, eastern Mongolia, and southeast Russia.
