Platanus x acerifolia ‘Pyramidalis’
London Plane
Platanus x acerifolia ‘Pyramidalis’ is a more tidy and erect-growing form of Platanus x acerifolia, and is known for its more symmetrical shape, which makes it well-suited for use in tighter spaces, avenues, and streets. During the autumn season, its leaves turn yellow-orange, providing a beautiful display of fall foliage. Platanus x acerifolia is deciduous, not native to New Zealand, and a hybrid between Platanus orientalis and Platanus occidentalis. Learn more about Platanus x acerifolia.
