Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Zen’ is a fast-growing plant that has lime-green new foliage, changing to a ruby-green with hues of red when matured. Will thrive in both sun and shade, and well drained soil, clipping into a nice hedge or screen. Very exposed coastal sites may cause the new growth to become salt burnt. Pittosporum tenuifolium is evergreen and native to New Zealand. Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Zen’ was developed in New Zealand.
