Malus domestica ‘Initial/Sir Prize’ is a double apple. Malus domestica ‘Sir Prize’ is a type of large yellow apple similar to Golden Delicious but with a blush. The fruit is very juicy with crisp, tender flesh, and it is known for being an excellent keeper. The fruit becomes ripe in mid to late autumn, and during spring, the pink buds on Malus domestica ‘Initial/Sir Prize’ open up to white flowers. See Malus domestica ‘Initial’ for description.
