Feijoa sellowiana ‘Kākāriki’
Feijoa
Feijoa sellowiana ‘Kākāriki’ produces large and very sweet fruit that is typically harvested in early to mid-autumn. It also produces beautiful red flowers from late-spring to mid-summer. Feijoa sellowiana ‘Kākāriki’ is coastal and wind-hardy, making it an excellent choice for hedges and screens. While it is partially self-fertile, better crops are achieved when planted with any other feijoa cultivar. Feijoa sellowiana is evergreen and native to the highlands of southern Brazil, eastern Paraguay, Uruguay, northern Argentina, and Colombia. Learn more about Feijoa sellowiana.
