Fagus sylvatica ‘Dawyck Gold’ is a tall, columnar cultivar that broadens as it matures. Its bright, golden-yellow leaves have a shiny sheen in the spring, and it has green-yellow leaves throughout the summer. During the autumn season, the leaves turn yellow, then brown through the winter and fall off prior to the emergence of new leaves.
